Wales has some of the finest surfing opportunities in the UK, and with breaks to suit all skill levels, you’ll be on your feet in no time.
What you get:
A beginner's board and full wetsuit are provided, and your instructor should have you on your feet and riding in a couple of hours. Some surf schools run 'women only' weekends; you usually learn in a small group but one-to-one tuition can be had.
How much?
Half day from £20.
Full day from £40-plus.

When?
The sea is 'warmest' in late summer and early autumn, and waves tend to be more consistent then too. However, most surf schools will be open from Easter until October.
