North Wales Borderlands
Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is just one of many water features in the North Wales Borderlands. Also known as ‘the stream in the sky’, it’s the world’s tallest canal boat crossing and recently became Wales' newest World Heritage Site.
Peter Jones (‘Jones the Boat’) has crossed it over 1000 times. He reckons you never get tired of the view.
We have to agree. Seeing a boat 126 feet in the air is quite amazing.
