Spot some thermals, take off from Snowdonia National Park and try this high flying sport. One of the fastest growing activities in the UK, a head for heights is a must.
Cycling
There are plenty of routes to explore in Snowdonia, the eight-mile-long Trail at Mawddach is a typical example. Gwydyr Forest and Coed y Brenin make special provision for off road trekking. Equipment for hire comes in all shapes and sizes.
Rock climbing
Sea cliffs, lowland crags, mountain ridges and peaks are just some of the challenges Snowdonia has to offer. With some of the best rock climbing in the UK, you really can spoil yourself.
Fishing
Salmon have bred in the Conwy, Lledr and Llugwy rivers for centuries, perfect for honing your angling skills. You’ll even find the odd sea trout making an appearance. Licenses are a must, so a visit to the Post Office is in order.
Horse Riding
Saddle up and head out on the bridle ways. Lakes, beaches and mountains are not uncommon in these parts, keeping a tight rein is advised. Tuition and facilities offered to all levels.
Water sports
