Beaches
Pembrokeshire has more blue flags and award winning beaches to choose from than any other county in the UK. Pack up a picnic and head out for day. The sand is particularly good for castle building too.
Meet Birds of Prey
Learn how to feed, hood and lure swing a real bird of prey. Watch as they spread their wings, fly off in to the wild and return to you for food - a fantastic and an unusual way of getting closer to nature.
Play Frizbee golf
How’s your aim? Why not pit your wits at Frizbee golf and see how you fare. An 18 basket course full of obstacles and challenges await with short distance tees for those with smaller arms.
Seal Safari
Take an hour long cruise from Tenby Harbour and visit the seals living on the islands around Pembrokeshire. With plenty of bird life to be spotted, September is the ideal time to see new born pups.
Oakwood
Vertical plunges, wild water rides, 70kph blast offs are all in days course at Oakwood. A sedate spot of mini golf or panning for rare nuggets of gold might be a better bet for those feeling less brave. All ages and sizes are catered for.
Mostonbrook Sanctuary Equine Home
Visit the Mostonbrook Equine Home, a sanctuary for rescued ponies and donkeys that have been ill treated, retired, abandoned or are too frail to work. An entirely voluntary run organisation, helping hands are always welcome.
Reptiles and Aquarium
Discover the ‘Silent World’ of fish, amphibians and invertebrates. Come rain or shine, there’s plenty to learn about life under the sea. You’ll also find animals of the more familiar variety to pet.
