Dragon Ride
One of the first annual cyclosportives to be held in the UK, this 120 or 180km non competitive road cycle challenge climbs the hills and valleys of South Wales. Intended for experienced cyclists, it makes great training for the Tour de France participation Etape.

Glamorgan Heritage Coast Path
Stretching for 14 miles, from Aberthaw in the east to Porthcawl in the west. The walk is a spectacular journey past dunes, cliffs and coves, rich in wildlife and history.

Royal Porthcawl golf club is one of many gems along the Glamorgan Coast. Other include Pyle & Kenfig, Southerndown, St Marys and The Grove. Whatever your ability, there’s something to suit.
Trek the Millennium Heritage trail
This epic 70 mile circular trail takes in most of the Vale of Glamorgan. The route was carefully designed to link much of the best of the area’s scenic and historic locations.
