If you know your Red Leicester from your Roquefort then the Great British Cheese Festival is just up your street. With an abundance of sheep, cow, goat and even buffalo cheese available you’re bound to find the perfect accompaniment for your cheese board. Even if you’re not a cheese-nut we think you’ll still enjoy the festival, which is set against the stunning backdrop of Cardiff Castle. There’s live music, taste masterclasses, the Cardiff Arms bar and even a cheese tossing competition- if you’d rather throw cheese than munch it.
